When we find ourselves feeling stuck, it can be helpful to have the support of another person to hear us, believe us, and at times, challenge us. Therapy serves as a container for our stories, a space that provides a sense of safety and an experience of feeling heard. I work to create a relationship rooted in active listening, curiosity, warmth, and trust. Together, we will move at your pace to allow your story to unfold.

I support children, adolescents, and adults navigating life’s challenges including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life transitions. I practice through a psychodynamic lens meaning I will follow your lead as we explore how you understand your past, your present, and yourself. Psychodynamic therapy helps deepen our understanding of the past and strengthen our understanding of our relationships, emotions, behaviors, and wants in the present. We will examine the roots of unresolved emotions in hopes of moving toward a place of balance and meaning.

When working with children, I communicate with them in their language - play. Play therapy provides a trusted outlet for children’s feelings, strengthens self-concept, and supports self-regulation and problem-solving. As a former teacher and school social worker, I also support youth in their self-advocacy and navigation of school challenges.

Regardless of where you are in your therapy journey, I will meet you there, and we will witness your story unfold together.
